Medusa – Artwork

Wool, Acrylic Paint, Leaf Gold, Metal chain. 200x100x30cm (2025).

Medusa is both guardian and wound, resurrection and refusal. A mirror turned toward those who would name power as sin.

She was never the monster. In the oldest Greek stones, she had wings—watching over the city, not cursing it. We bring her back as protector, warrior, and witness. Blessed in ceremony, veiled in gold and felted breath.

“Her gaze is not a curse, but a mirror.”

“Her eyes do not petrify—they reveal
the bone beneath your cowardice.”
